Power and his team are on the run! They take refuge in the Passages.
Power plans revenge on Locke for the death of Pilot, but this plan
ultimately brings him face to face with the new Lord Dread, a creature
now more machine than man. This episode introduces Chris "Ranger" O'Connor,
who is destined to become a new member of the team. |
 |
Power makes plans to find and activate the second Power Base, a base
created by his father and hidden in the far North, somewhere within the
Arctic Circle. This journey begins after a raid on a Dread installation
for supplies and fuel. It is cut short when the JumpShip is severely
damaged by a missile and crash lands in a thickly forested area in the
northernmost regions of Canada. |
 |
Crash landing within the Great Northern Forest, Power and his men are
attacked by a phalanx of troopers and then captured by an armed group
carrying high tech bows and arrows who call themselves "The Archers".
Angry that the JumpShip crash has destroyed a large amount of prime
forest and fearful that the crash will draw Dread and more troopers
into their forest, the Archers threaten to kill Power and the team. |
 |
While Power and the team are gaining the trust of the Archers, Dread
seeks out the "Baron", a petty tyrant who controls the forest people by
cruel use of force. Discovering that Dread is with the Baron, the Power
team and the Archers mount a joint spy mission. Spying from a cliff, the
group is spotted and attacked by "clickers". Tank fails to stop a trooper
who is heading straight for Power. With his blaster drained, Jonathan goes
hand to hand with the trooper as they both topple and fall hundreds of feet
from the edge of the cliff. |
 |
Unable to find Jonathan after the fall, a distraught team follows the
Archers to a meeting with a man they call the "Trader". Unknown to the team,
after his fall from the cliff, Power was pulled from the river by the Trader,
who now recognizes him as being wanted by Dread. Dread sends his newest creations,
the "Hunter-Seekers" to attack the group. The group finds them to be nearly
indestructible. The group escape, but, Dread projects a hologram of himself into
the sky and orders them to surrender or he will ignite a plasma storm which will
destroy everything within a 1000 kilometer radius ! |
 |
The Hunter-Seekers begin igniting a plasma storm as the Power team stares
in disbelief from the distance. Dread vows to destroy the entire forest unless
Power surrenders. Ignoring Power's orders, Hawk powers up and attempts to stop
Dread's mechanical demons, but with his suit power failing, he is blasted from
the sky and falls into the heart of the raging plasma energy storm. |
 |
After finding repair parts for the JumpShip in a raid on Baron's warehouse,
Hawk and Scout are struggling to repair the ship while Tank, Chris and the Archers
attempt to take control of the Baron's laser cannon. Only the cannon has sufficient
power to delay the growing plasma storm. Attempting to lure Dread away from protecting
the cannon, Captain Power faces Dread alone in a fight to the death. |
 |
Power and the team leave the forest, heading for the new Power Base,
but, Lord Dread has anticipated them and stands in their way. With the
unexpected re-appearance and daring help of "Andy Jackson", whose real
name is revealed to be Chip "TNT" Morrow, they breach Dread's blockade and
finally reach their new home. "TNT" and "Ranger" receive PowerSuits and
become members of the Soldiers of the Future. |
 |
Power and the new team continue their war against Dread in a series
of daring missions designed to save the Resistance Movement and stop Dread
from carrying out his latest scheme - Project Rebirth (a plan to perfect
the machine body technology which will allow Dread to begin building his
New Order). In the course of these missions, Power faces Dread's newest
allies, "Xenon", the most fearsome BioDread Warlord yet and the
"Hunter-Seekers", a new form of robotic Trooper, far more deadly
than the old. |
 |
While seeking out more data on Project Rebirth, Power, Tank and
Ranger are marooned on a tropical island where the diabolical Doctor Severius
is carrying out insidious experiments in the service of Lord Dread,
experiments which have created a race of mutants with odd powers. While
Jonathan strives to turn the mutants to the cause of human freedom, Hawk,
Scout and TNT must stand alone against Dread and his forces. |
 |
Lord Dread's forces threaten the security of the Passages, a safe
haven for many human survivors. Power, determined to help the inhabitants
of the Passages escape, embarks on a quest for the fabled Eden II. As the
search begins, Power and his team once again meet Vi and the WarDogs who
have left Eden II in search of a traitor who threatens to reveal Eden's
location to Dread. Together they capture the traitor but not before Dread
is made aware of Eden's existance. Dread attacks the Passages, but the
Power team and the WarDogs wreak havoc on Dread's forces and succeed in
transporting the people in the Passages away to Eden II. There they find
a high-tech paradise ruled by a mysterious Council who welcome Power and
his team into their midst. |
 |
Power and the team along with the WarDogs are safe for the moment,
but, the peril is far from over. Lord Dread now knows of Eden and is determined
to find it at any cost. Superior Dread forces are rapidly closing in on Eden's
location while the Power team, along with Vi and the WarDogs, attempt to convince
the Council that Eden II's technology must be used in a unified stand against
Dread, if humanity is to have any chance of surviving. The battle to end all
battles is about to begin ! |
